Founded by Francesco Cigana in 2018, DOOOM Orchestra is a Padua-based collective of young musicians investigating the improvisational practice. “Our Sea Lies Within II” is the second chapter of a recording that took place in 2023.
This second chapter of “Our Sea Lies Within” continues the exploration started in the first, delving further into the shared sonic space shaped by the DOOOM Orchestra. It offers a seamless extension of the same recording session—an organic unfolding of the ensemble’s collective language. As the music flows, new nuances emerge from the same deep current: the sound remains clear, evocative, and grounded in the subtle interplay between individual voices. A further immersion into that common ocean, where listening leads the way.
