Andrea Zerbetto studied classical piano privately until the end of high school in 2014. Subsequently, he earned a degree in classical piano from the C. Pollini Conservatory in Padua in 2018, under the guidance of Dario Marrini, achieving a score of 110/110. During this period, he had the opportunity to perform live with local jazz groups and Francesco Cigana's improvisation collective, DOOOOM Orchestra, in various concerts. He also studied privately with Maestro Riccardo Zadra. Later, he obtained a degree in jazz piano from the A. Pedrollo Conservatory in Vicenza in 2023, guided by Pietro Tonolo, Paolo Birro, and Mauro Beggio. Throughout this time, he participated in various masterclasses with Jorge Rossy, Massimo Cavalli, Ares Tavolazzi, Larry Grenadier, Trevisosuonajazz, Steve Turre, and attended the summer seminars of the Fara Jazz Summer School in Fara in Sabina in the summer of 2022. He studied with renowned musicians such as Fabio Zeppetella, Omer Klein, Franco d'Andrea, Reinier Baas, and Roberto Gatto. Since 2022, he has been teaching at Lizard School of Music in Legnago (VR) and continues to play with the DOOOM Orchestra and small groups derived from that ensemble (like at Art Night and Cinema Galleggiante, both in Venice). From 2023, he privately studies with Glenn Zaleski and concurrently engages in jazz activities, such as performances at Circolo Nadir (principal regular jazz venue in Padua), Mura Festival (VR) and Montagnana (PD). In September 2023, he embarks on a 2-year Master's program in jazz piano at the Prins Claus Conservatorium in Groningen, Netherlands, proposing a thesis regarding famous Israeli musicians such as Avishai Cohen, Shai Maestro and Nitai Hershkovits. Here, he continued his studies with Jasper Soffers, Joris Teepe and many more american musicians like Adam Nussbaum, JD Walter, Jim Ridl, Jesse Davis, Mark Gross, David Berkman, Danny Grissett, Dave Kikoski just to name a few.
