Description

The new album by the Tuscany Music Revolution (TMR) collective was recorded live during the first edition of the TMR artistic residence dedicated to music research and improvisation at Podere il Terzo in Buonconvento in Tuscany, Italy.

The 8 tracks of the album are all born from improvisations with different ensembles starting from the trio up to the complete collective composed of 13 musicians. The improvisations were conceived without the presence of a leader or a predetermined formal scheme, everything took place within an environment of absolute listening and improvisational freedom, in a totally horizontal vision of the research work, where everyone contributes with their own musical identity, dialoguing with the others.

For this reason, in the album you can find an array of different musical tendencies from jazz, rock, or ethnic colors, to lyrical and rarefied situations, passing through more timbral and aggressive moments.
