Description

Wood seen both as an inspirational element of nature and as a working material.
In both cases the imagination leads us to imagine other dimensions. Consider, for example, the wood grain, the ripples of of a tree’s barks. But also think about the thousand objects of craftsmanship that can be created with wood, the vibrations transmitted by it through a huge variety of musical instruments.

This is a theme well known by the duo of brothers who have a family tradition of artisan wood workers. For many generations, the family of brothers Adalberto and Andrea Ferrari has been involved in woodworking, making wheels for carts, art furniture, doors and windows, inventing through creativity also tools for processing as well as original solutions for everyday objects. Their ancestors were craftsmen and musicians for passion, almost all of them.

NovoTono duo, playing instruments belonging to the family of woodwinds, ideally continues this family tradition, although in the musical dimension. The desire to manipulate the material and to give it an original, personal dimension, to find beautiful but above all functional solutions, the attention to the details, we can say they are a constitutional part of this duo.
