Description
“In the grip” is the second album by Circles 44 published by Aut Records after their 2020 debut album “Cratere”.
Enriched by the presence of Achille Succi on bass clarinet and double bass clarinet, the album presents exclusively original compositions, arranged in a choral work that enhances the collective nature of the project active since 2017.
The rhythmic research, the harmonic-melodic solutions and the electronic incursions supported by constant interplay trace an ever-evolving path through different compositional and improvisational approaches. The jazz language in all its forms and facets is the glue that keeps theme together as a whole.
