Luz González is a performer-composer and sound artist whose practice explores the materiality of sound and understands listening as a physical collision of sound waves with the body. She approaches sound as a sculptural material, taking shape through compositions, installations, improvisation, and interdisciplinary works.

In 2025, she released her solo debut album Bi Gezur (Everest Records). Together with Rebeca Minten, she forms the duo Minten & González, whose work explores free improvisation in an electroacoustic context. In 2026, the duo released Ruins of a Non-Existent Place. She also performs in the project ¬I∞GU∞k¬ with Ueli Kempter. In 2022, she developed the piece Superorganismus in collaboration with the contemporary ensemble Tio Tramontana.

Her interdisciplinary practice often unfolds through collaborations with artists from different fields. In collaborations with choreographers, scenographers, and visual artists, she explores the diverse relationships between sound, movement, materiality, and space.

Luz holds an MA in Composition – Creative Practice and an MA in Contemporary Arts Practice, as well as a BA in Sound Arts from Bern University of the Arts. She previously studied Spanish and French Literature and Linguistics at the University of Bern.
