Francesco Panconesi is a musician (saxophonist and composer) born in Florence on the 26th of August 1996.

Francesco Panconesi started studying music in High School at the Liceo Musicale in Florence, at which he graduated his saxophone degree. During those years he also studied piano and harmony while getting closer to jazz, improvisation and contemporary music.

In 2015 he started his studies at Siena Jazz University, where he had the opportunity to study and play with: Dan Kinzelman, Achille Succi, Stefano Battaglia, Fulvio Sigurtà, Gabriele Evangelista, Alfonso Santimone, Simone Graziano, Ralph Alessi, Ben Monder and many others.

Being active on the italian and european jazz scene, both as a musician and as a composer, he already obtained many important accomplishments and some scolarships: Siena Jazz Summer Workshops, Best Student – Nuoro Jazz and others.
During the last years he played in various italian and european Festivals (Umbria Jazz, il Jazz italiano per L’Aquila, Empoli Jazz Festival, Mantova Jazz, Firenze Jazz Festival, and others).

As of this day he has taken part in the recording process of many Albums (Auand Record, AUT, Rudi Records) and he’s active in various projects of the italian contemporary jazz scene such as Luca Sguera AKA, Nicolò Francesco Faraglia – Smòs, Francesca Gaza – Lilac for People, Welaware.
