After an initial period of self-directed study and later under the guidance of Daniele D’Agaro, he completed his Jazz Saxophone studies at the Kunstuniversität Graz (Austria), studying with Don Menza, Kerheinz Miklin, Renato Chicco, Stjepko Gut, and Fritz Pauer. He also earned a diploma in clarinet from Ferrara.

He has attended workshops with Bob Brookmeyer, Franco D’Andrea, Billy Hart, Walter Norris, Jerry Bergonzi, and others.

He has performed with numerous ensembles in Austria, Serbia, Slovenia, Croatia, the UK, Belgium, France, Germany, Russia, China, and Mexico. He has collaborated with Don Menza, the HRT Big Band, Stjepko Gut, Bajram Istrefi, Dena De Rose, Zlatko Kaučič, Giovanni Maier, Vladimir Kostadinović, Soweto Kinch, Yasushi Nakamura, Dan Tepfer, Veronica Swift, Lerroy Emanuel, and many others.

He is currently a member of the following ensembles:
