Milanese double bassist, born in 1997, he developed his artistic training first at the G. Verdi Conservatory of Milan and later at Siena Jazz Academy, where he studied with Joe Sanders, Demian Cabaud, Ralph Alessi, Jeff Ballard, Yonathan Avishai, Fabrizio Puglisi and Stefano Battaglia.

From the early years of his musical activity, he became a permanent member of the Stefano Bagnoli We Kids Trio, with pianist Giuseppe Vitale and drummer Stefano “Brushman” Bagnoli. With this ensemble he recorded two albums released by Abeat Records and Tuk Music, performing at major festivals and venues such as Umbria Jazz Festival, Time in Jazz, Blue Note Milano and Nuoro Jazz Festival.

As a sideman he collaborated with Giovanni Falzone Metropolitan Band, Federico Calcagno & The Dolphians, Francesca Remigi Archipélagos and Michele Sannelli & The Gonghers, performing at Jazzwoche Burghausen, Edinburgh Jazz Festival, NOSPR Katowice, Getxo Jazz Festival, Jazz Juniors Krakow, Bergamo Jazz, Pisa Jazz, Festivalle, Casa del Jazz, Una Striscia di Terra Feconda, Novara Jazz, Piacenza Jazz Fest, Sile Jazz and Macerata Jazz.

In 2023 and 2024 he performed with pianist Stefano Battaglia’s orchestra Tabula Rasa within the Accademia Chigiana productions Micat in Vertice and the project In a Silent Way, alongside Fulvio Sigurtà and Antonio Caggiano.

He has performed with orchestras and big bands including the National Jazz Orchestra of Italian Conservatories, Verdi Jazz Orchestra, Angiolo Tarocchi Jazz Orchestra, Orchestra Tabula Rasa and AreaM Orchestra, in festivals and theaters such as Pescara Jazz, Il Jazz Italiano per le Terre del Sisma, Estate Sforzesca and Accademia Chigiana, with guests including Paolo Fresu, Billy Cobham, Fabrizio Bosso, Alex Sipiagin, Mario Biondi, Tullio De Piscopo, Tino Tracanna and Alberto Mandarini.

Other collaborations include Dado Moroni, Max Ionata, Fausto Beccalossi, Achille Succi, Fabrizio Puglisi, Andrea Dulbecco, Gianni Cazzola, Greg Burk, Emilio Soana, Emanuele Parrini, Mario Rusca, Paolo Tomelleri, Oscar Del Barba, Giovanni Cutello and Matteo Cutello.

In 2025 he performed as a soloist at Teatro dei Rinnovati in Siena with the Guardia di Finanza Wind Orchestra for the celebration of the 250th anniversary of the corps.

After several years mainly devoted to sideman activity, he founded MutatuM, a sextet of original music featuring Cosimo Boni on trumpet, Gianluca Zanello on alto saxophone, Enrico Galeano on guitar, Guglielmo Santimone on piano and Simone Brilli on drums. In this project, he appears both as composer and double bassist. The first recording of the project, recorded at Artesuono Recording Studio by Stefano Amerio, will be released in autumn 2025.
