Luca Serrapiglio
Appears on:Luca Serrapiglio plays all the saxophones, bass and contrabass clarinet. He’s a composer, improviser and performer.
He has a Master Degree in Saxophone and Jazz Music obtained at the Conservatory of Alessandria, Italy.
He recorded several albums with his bands and as a soloist, and performed music from jazz to popular music, from rock to classical and contemporary music. He worked and specialized himself also as a composer and performer of music for contemporary dance.
He focused his teaching activity in an organic and complete approach on teaching the saxophone and the music, without caring genres or styles. He thinks about music as a meeting ground, a way of communication beyond languages or genres. He also devoted himself to an extended teaching of improvisation.
