Giosuè Consiglio, born in 1999, has been playing drums since childhood. At the age of three, he was already drumming with chopsticks from a Chinese restaurant on the dashboard of a camper van, keeping time with the album La Notte della Taranta 2003. Or so the story goes. In any case, that was the beginning of his path. As a child he studied with Rino Di Pace and later, from the age of 17 onward, he became a student of Maestro Tony Arco. For around ten years now, he has been active on the Milanese and Italian music scenes. In 2026, he completed his bachelor’s degree in jazz drums at the Civica Scuola di Musica Claudio Abbado, with a technical thesis reflecting the process of personal and instrumental development he has pursued in recent years. His main artistic work has emerged through the jazz-fusion trio Psoas, the artistic collective Un Ballo Di Campo, and the fusion quintet Syntrofoi, alongside other collaborations, both live and in the recording studio, ranging from blues and pop to mainstream jazz.
