Emanuel Donadelli, drummer, percussionist and composer, born in 1976 in Palmanova, lives and works permanently in Udine. He began studying drums at the age of 12, first as a self-taught and then with Franco Stocco, his first teacher. In 1999 he moved to Holland to complete his academic studies at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague: here he obtained a Bachelor and Master in jazz and solo drums with teachers Roy Dakus, Erik Ineke, Stephan Kruger. In 2005 and 2006 he took lessons in the United States with Adam Nussbaum, Owen Hart, Suzie Ibarra and in 2008 in Italy with Roberto Dani. He also studied vibraphone, Indian music and tablas with Ashot Patak and Nitty Rajastan, djembe and African music with Alì n’Dali Rose. Between 2000 and 2010 he participated in numerous masterclasses and seminars, both in Italy and abroad with internationally renowned artists. In 2008 and 2009 he attended the seminars “Forme Sonore” with Roberto Dani. He participated in numerous festivals and recordings, competitions, national and local radio programs, international tours in Germany, Austria, Spain, Turkey, France, Belgium, Holland. He performs and records alongside established Italian and foreign musicians including Daniele D’Agaro, Giovanni Maier, Francesco Bearzatti, Gaetano Valli, Lorena Favot, Mauro Costantini, Mauro Ottolini, Attilio Zanchi, Andrea Dulbecco, Nevio Zaninotto, Massimo De Mattia, Romano Todesco, Daniel Nosig, Elsa Martin, Luigi Vitale, Bruno Romani, Franco Feruglio, Barbara Errico, Iuri Dal Dan, Antonio Onorato, Annette Van Eikel, Rachel Gould, Philip Harper, Rob Van Kreeveld, Pordenone Big Band, Monfalcone Big Band, Royal Conservatory Big Band, Onur Ataman Ensemble, Tharana Ensemble, Tiziana Ghiglioni, Dick De Graaf, Yvonne Smeets, Armando Battiston, Brice Soniano, Alexandra Grimal, Joachim Badenhorst, Martin Shoenlieb, Rodrigo Parejo, Johannes Kies, Maurits Roes and Tommaso Genovesi.
