Jordan White is an Australian guitarist, composer and organiser, based in Cologne since late 2023. He leads the White-Reznichenko Quintet together with Olga Reznichenko, curates the festival and concert series “Come Closer” together with Peter Ehwald, and teaches in Cologne and Krefeld. He studied Jazz and New Music in Melbourne and Weimar, has performed in Australia, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands and Switzerland, was an elected member of the Weimar Foreigner’s Council and was Production Manager of the festival “Yiddish Summer Weimar.” White works with Guitar, SuperCollider and extended guitar techniques and tunings in order to develop his own voice moving between Jazz, Improvisation and Electroacoustic music. Jordan was a member of the Musikfonds Jury from 2022 to 2025 and was a member of the Jury for the German Jazz Prize in 2026.
