Sara Tinti is an italian singer, pianist, composer, and music educator.

She have developed a strong versatility and experience both as a soloist and as a backing vocalist, in different styles including jazz, pop, brazilian music, as well as early and contemporary choral repertoire. Her main current projects include: Le Scat Noir (three voices, piano and violin), a vocal trio which played at festivals and clubs throughout Italy and abroad, and has received prizes in national and international competitions (including I Suoni delle Dolomiti, Bau Jazz Festival, Premio Abbado); Lua Nova Trio (voice, guitar, drums), a deep exploration of brazilian music; Collettivo Rosario (company of 13body performers) led by musician Charles Raszl (Barbatuques), presenting a show rooted in traditional and folk music, blending body percussion, dance, voices, and theater.

In 2019, she opened the concert of the Mike Stern and Dave Weckl Band with Le Scat Noir at Paradiso Jazz in Bologna. She had performed brazilian music with Gilson Silveira, Daniele Santimone, Charles Raszl, and collaborated with Orchestra Senzaspine.

She played in many festivals and venues such as: B-Flat Jazz Club (Berlin), International Mugham Center a Baku (Azerbaijan), Body Rhythm Festival (Hamburg DE), Festival Voci Audaci (Losone CH), JazzMi, Ambria Jazz, Il Jazz Italiano per le terre del sisma, I Suoni delle Dolomiti, Monfrà Jazz, Musicultura, Crossroads, Piacenza Jazz Festival, Gubbio No Borders, Duke Jazz Club, Jazz Club Torrione, Talos Festival, Monfrà Jazz, Pedras et Sonus Jazz Festival, Collinarea, Festival Opera Prima, SPM Testaccio, Casa di Lucio Dalla, Teatro Duse (Bologna), Reggia di Caserta, Museo degli Uffizi.
