Olmo Minarelli is a musician and composer based in Bologna, specializing in Clarinet and Bass Clarinet in jazz and contemporary contexts. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Jazz Piano Performance (G.B. Martini, 2022) and is currently pursuing Jazz Composition studies, effectively combining solid academic training with practical experience. Focusing his performance work on the Bass Clarinet, Olmo received the Best Soloist Award with Tetrakè Quartet at JaciJazz 2024 and reached the finals of the Conad Youth Jazz Competition with Omlet Octet (Umbria Jazz Festival 2025). His original arrangements have been performed by the Conservatory Big Band in recent years, including at events like DebuJazz 2025. He also maintains a professional commitment to applied music, with five years of collaboration in music therapy programs in the Bologna area.
