Born in Milan, she developed her musical training by studying instrumental technique and improvisation with Achille Succi, Barend Middelhoff and Cristiano Arcelli. Over the years, she has deepened her interest in various forms of improvised and experimental music, attending courses and masterclasses with leading figures in the contemporary and avant-garde music scene, including Fabrizio Puglisi, Giancarlo Schiaffini, Silvia Bolognesi, Gunter “Baby” Sommer, Edoardo Marraffa, Piero Bittolo Bon, Rob Mazurek, Dan Kinzelman, Thollem McDonas, Simone La Maida, Mike Rossi and Steve Lehman. Her research focuses particularly on sound exploration, extended saxophone techniques, improvisation and composition. Alongside her artistic path, she has cultivated a scientific background that has significantly shaped her approach to sound research. Her work aims to bring different disciplines into dialogue—music, movement and the performing arts—within a practice that privileges listening, perception and the relationship between bodies and their environment. This intersection of fields translates into a musical exploration dedicated to creating evolving sound
spaces, where improvisation becomes a tool for inquiry, connection and co-presence.
