After cutting his teeth with renowned Italian musicians such as Giulio Capiozzo and Ares Tavolazzi, guitarist Daniele Santimone moved to Boston and proceeded to earn his Bachelor’s Degree in Professional Music at Berklee College of Music. After returning to Italy, he completed his studies at Rovigo’s conservatory “F. Venezze” and began collaborating both live and in the studio with several prominent jazz musicians such as Marco Tamburini, Jimmy Owens, Billy Hart, Cameron Brown, Joe Magnarelli, Jesse Davis, Karl Potter, Roberto Gatto, Marcello Tonolo, Pietro Tonolo, Flavio Boltro, Dario Deidda, Fabrizio Bosso, Gabriele Mirabassi and many others. He has performed internationally in many important jazz clubs and festivals such as the North Sea Jazz Festival, Blue Note (NY), Umbria Jazz Winter, Jazz Club il Torrione, Veneto Jazz. He’s active in a wide range of styles and has performed with important artists such as Eumir Deodato, Pee Wee Ellis, Patrizia Laquidara, Gian Maria Testa, Mario Biondi, Jarrod Lawson and many others. His discography includes recordings as a sideman and as a leader. He is a member of the jazz faculty at “G. Frescobaldi” conservatory in Ferrara where he teaches Jazz Guitar.
