Dan Peter Sundland is an electric bass player and composer. Set apart by his distinct sound and playing stile, including extensive bowing on electric bass, he is a well-known figure in the vibrant Berlin improvised music scene.
He’s been a member of the KIM collective, most notable for their collaboration with Jazzfest Berlin 2018-2020, wich included a fungus themed opera, video productions and installation pieces.
He can also be heard in Lina Allemano’s Ohreschmaus, MeoW! (with Jim Black, Cansu Tanrıkulu and longtime collaborator Liz Kosack), **Y**, Frank Gratkowski’s Entrainment and Chris Pitsiokos’ CP Unit.
