Alberto Dipace

Pianist, composer and music teacher Alberto Dipace was born in Oristano in 1987 and currently lives in Milan.
After his classical studies, he graduated in Jazz and Improvised Music from the Conservatory of Alessandria and later specialized in Jazz music at the Conservatory of Venice and Perugia.
He studied with Carlo Alberto Neri, Luigi Bonafede and Ramberto Ciammarughi.

Originally a classical pianist, he is now a jazz concert pianist with a focus on research on free improvisation. He performed concerts for companies, theaters and festivals with conductors, actors and musicians including Carlo Alberto Neri, Giancarlo Schiaffini, Stefano Senni, Achille Succi, Danilo Gallo, Enzo Carpentieri, Zlatko Kaucic, Andrea Massaria, Cristiano Calcagnile, Hank Roberts, Howard Curtis, Ferdinando FaraĆ², Riccardo Di Vinci, Eric Cisbani, Adrian F Myhr, Tore T. Sandbakken, Stefano Profeta, the Fidelio Ensemble with Gabriele Betti, Piero Raffaelli, Massimo Bacci, Lorenzo Massotti, Luca Ricci, Igor Barbaro, the Romanian State Symphony Orchestra “Balkan”, among others. He has also been teaching jazz piano, jazz harmony, ensemble and improvisation courses for several years now, seeing teaching as a key part of his artistic and cultural growth.
