Description

After a first official album and a live “bootleg”, Tell No Lies quintet releases “Anasyrma”, a co-production by Aut Records and Fonterossa that tends a red thread between Berlin and Tuscany touching Bologna, where the formation is at home.

The quintet approaches the fifth year of activity with a new album of original pieces, a programmatic title and the participation of three guests perfectly at ease in a torrid and dancing atmosphere. Tell No Lies confirms itself as the “quintet that manages to combine singability, immediacy, energy and expressive freedom” so well described by the radio program “Battiti” (Rai Radio3).

The music develops between incendiary improvisational moments and suggestive interwoven melodies, proposed in a brave and adamantine way by a line-up definitely not inclined to compromise. Edoardo Marraffa, Filippo Orefice, Nicola Guazzaloca (who signs all the compositions), Luca Bernard, and Andrea Grillini give life to a real musical “anasyrma”, cathartic and impudent of its overwhelming authenticity.
